Staff chat during tonight’s performance of Black Nativity, Intiman’s annual Christmas production.

William: It sounded like they just said “Sanjaya”.

Me: They did. He’s in the show this year.

William: WHAT???!!!! Are you serious?

Madeline: Does that mean you’re gonna see the show, William?

William: No. But if Sanjaya had done the one person Joan Didion play, I would have been all over that.
