Kj, this is astounding. For some reason I thought I had already read it, but I sat down to look at it and was blown away. It is beautiful and relevant-particularly to my new experiences and new theatrical environment here in NYC . Considering my move from Seattle to NYC for grad school in light of your article and the comparisons you make in many ways affirms the connection I feel with you. I look forward to more shared conversations and ears being bent, eschatologically speaking.

I remember meeting you that Fall in Bothell. You told me about your time in NYC in the theatre. I told you something about my own life in the theatre. You, a director. Me, an actor. It was then I knew I hadn't made a terrible mistake.
