   those gifts are not tooo shabby. love bon iver and almost famous. (have you seen the director’s cut?)

   yeah- i royally disliked the Almost Famous director’s cut. I know its a fave film of yours- do you approve of the DC?

   Have to admit- I was a little nervous about how costume drama-y and Victorian most of my selection this year was. But I’m trying to break social and cultural stereotypes about that stuff- so I have to risk it. I love them, and anyone who wants to make a snarky assumption about it, can get back to me after they read ALL of Middlemarch. Only then will I listen to critiques

   What’s crazy to me is that in that picture, Anne Hathaway looks more like Julia Roberts than Julia Roberts and it’s all I can focus on at the moment.
